Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you (or the business you represent) and DOFIES, run by Veledin Sela (sole proprietorship, trading as DOFIES), Gefyras Papastathi 22, 45332 Ioannina, Greece, VAT number EL176171435. Contact: info@dofies.com. By creating an account or using DOFIES you accept them. DOFIES is a service for businesses and professionals.

1. What DOFIES does

DOFIES is a team of AI assistants (“Dofies”) for your publication. It reads public news sources, writes original articles in your language, sends them to your WordPress site (as drafts for your review, unless you choose otherwise), posts published articles to the social accounts you connect, and shows you reports. Some features are offered later or only on some plans; we describe what each plan includes when you choose it.

2. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens in your workspace and for the people you invite.
  • Give us correct information, and only connect websites and accounts you are allowed to manage.
  • You must be at least 18 and able to accept these terms for your business.

3. Your content and your responsibility as publisher

  • You own your content: the articles prepared for you, your edits and your photos. You give us the permission we need to store, process and publish them for you.
  • You are the publisher. You decide what appears on your site and social pages. AI can make mistakes: articles may contain errors or miss context. Review articles before you publish them, especially if you turn review off.
  • Our writers work only from public sources, write in their own words and credit the source. You remain responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your publication (press, defamation, copyright, elections, advertising).
  • Photos you upload must be yours or licensed to you. Stock photos come from providers whose licences allow this use, credited when they ask.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use DOFIES to:

  • publish illegal, hateful, deceptive or defamatory content, or disinformation;
  • infringe others' rights, or present rumours or AI text as verified fact;
  • spam, manipulate search engines or social networks, or break their rules;
  • attack, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the service without our written agreement.

We may pause a workspace that breaks these rules, and we tell you why.

5. Connected services

DOFIES works with WordPress, Google, Facebook, Instagram and others. Their own terms apply to your use of them. If one of them changes or limits its service (for example, Meta limits posting), the related DOFIES feature may stop working until it is fixed; that is not a breach of these terms.

6. Plans, payment and cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. Prices are shown before you subscribe; VAT is added where it applies.
  • You can cancel at any time in the app; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund partial periods, unless the law requires it.
  • We may change prices for the next billing period, telling you at least 30 days before.
  • If a payment fails, we let you know and may pause the workspace after 14 days.

7. Our property

The DOFIES software, brand, the Dofies characters and their artwork belong to DOFIES. You may use them only inside the service.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep DOFIES running all the time, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features; if we remove something important you pay for, we tell you in advance.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, DOFIES is not liable for indirect losses (such as lost profit, revenue or data) or for content you publish, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time by writing to info@dofies.com. We may end it with 30 days' notice, or at once for a serious breach. You can export your articles before it ends; afterwards we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes go to the courts of Greece, unless the law gives you the right to use the courts where you are.

12. Changes to these terms

We tell account owners about important changes at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use DOFIES after that means you accept them.
